Situated in a beautiful zone nestled between the snowy peak of Etna and the blue sea just north of Catania.
This zone has a amazing history and sites; thermal baths, beaches, orange & lemon groves. With elements from many different historical periods sitting side by side.
The town is famous for it's gelaterie serving many delicious flavours of home made ice-cream. Also the thermal waters are still popular with many people utilising their recuperative powers.
A must see is the annual carnivale which is a riot of colour and imagination.
