Undoubtedly one of Sicily’s greatest secrets! Those who have never visited before are invariably surprised by how diverse the scenery is.

Goldern beaches, rolling farmland, forests, hills, mountains, volcanoes, islands, canyons; endlessly changing views. Citrus fruit groves or olive trees still tended to with traditional methods and strips of crops make the countryside a variety of colours.

Winding country roads pass by hill towns and hug the hillsides. Cool forests are a sanctuary in summer and a haven for wildlife.

Mountains with panoramic views. Volcanoes, Etna being the father of them all, dominating, but never a danger unless you don’t heed its warnings.

Islands such as the Aeolians, Egadis, Lampedusa and Pantelleria are spectacularly beautiful and have long attracted the rich and famous.
